How old does my child need to be?
3 years old by August 31st
What is the ratio of children to staff?
We are licensed by the State to be 10:1
Does my child need to be toilet trained?
Yes, by the first day of class, no pull ups
Do you have before and after school care?
Yes, 4+ year olds are welcome to attend before and after school care on campus
What about snacks and lunch?
Full day children bring in their lunch, we provide snacks.
Does it matter if we are not Catholic?
We teach religion to a Catholic curriculum and welcome all faiths!
Do preschoolers take a nap?
Children who attend full day are asked to rest for an hour after lunch.
Are you a play based program?
We are a theme based program. We balance curriculum and play, and students may participate in PE, music, and library specialists.
Does my child need immunizations?
Yes, every student shall be immunized against vaccine preventable diseases caused by infectious agents in accordance with the immunization schedule adopted by the Washington State Department of Health Services. The only exception to the foregoing requirements for students in our Catholic schools is a medical exemption signed by a licensed physician. The Archdiocese of Seattle.
Will my child be taught religion?
Yes. Our students are taught that they are created and loved by God.
What are the qualifications of a preschool teacher?
Each teacher has completed 30 hours of Childcare Basics through the Department of Early Learning and are required to take an additional 10 hours of professional development each school year.
Can I help in the classroom?
Parents are welcome to volunteer in the classroom.
